Life Insurance
For many people, there is a time where their life insurance policy is no longer needed due to an increase in assets or not needing to provide life insurance for loved ones. What to do with that life insurance policy? Here is just one of several ways to leave it for Seton Catholic School:
Know that your policy proceeds go to Seton Catholic School with making a charitable gift of life insurance. You may benefit from a current charitable income tax deduction with tax savings that may be allowed for up to six years.
Your insurance company will have a change of ownership form for you to complete, designating Seton Catholic School as the new owner. It’s that easy. Also, an additional charitable income tax deduction may be received if you may make cash contributions each year to pay the policy premiums should we hold onto the policy.
