Hello,

What a great first week of fifth grade. I feel very blessed to work at Seton and to work with such great families. We spent this first week setting routines, learning schedules, establishing rules and getting to know one another. One of our conversations this week was the importance of reading and doing so each night for 20 minutes. I encourage you to see that your child sticks to this routine and ask that you spend time discussing the books that your child is reading with them. Thanks for your cooperation with this simple, but important task.

Some background information on me and my experience.  I have been teaching for 23 years, 19 of those here at Seton. I live in Farlay and have three children, Janelle (19 years old) attending UNI, Maria (16 years old) and Nolan (9 years old). I have taught in a variety of grade levels from kindergarten to middle school, but absolutely love fifth grade. :-). I truly believe that it was a calling for me to teach in a Catholic school and I’m excited about sharing my faith with your child

I am looking forward to a wonderful school year!  Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions, comments, or concerns.  Your feedback is greatly appreciated!
