Sarah McCabe, preschool teacher
Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Northern Iowa (UNI) with certifications in elementary and early childhood education. She also has K-8 Reading and Writing endorsements. Following graduation from UNI in 2008, she began teaching four- and five-year old preschool at Seton Catholic.
Sarah grew up in Peosta and had wanted to return there after college. Sarah and her husband reside in Peosta and are currently raising two children here as well.
Teaching philosophy: As an early childhood educator, it is my goal to give my students their first positive introduction into a formal educational setting. It is in my room, where I hope my students begin their love of learning. I am certain I learn more from my students each year to help make me a better teacher for the next group of children.
